Animals Help Deliver Important Messages: Would a Worm Go on a Walk? & Busy, Busy First Look Reviews

Disclosure: I was sent these books to review free of charge from Worthy Ideals. All opinions in this post are my own. I did not receive any other compensation for this review. I am including links to each item for your convenience but do not receive anything if you purchase them.

Today I get to share with you two new books that use animals to deliver important messages to children. The first book is a religious book that delivers the message that God created animals to do what they do and His masterpiece is you. The second book's message is that no matter how busy a mother is she always has time for a snuggle with her child.

Would a Worm Go on a Walk? by Hannah C. Hall and illustrated by Bill Bolton is a picture book that has animals doing funny things like the worm on the cover walking with sneakers.

The actions for the animals are funny and obviously not true--a lion as a lifeguard. We really enjoyed reading some of the outrageous ideas. Then the book brings it back to these ideas not being possible because God made the animals to do certain things and that is what they do. Then it goes on to explain how God's special plan was to create his masterpiece, humans. It ends with Genesis 1:31a on the last page.

This is such a fun take on creation without telling the Bible story. Why can't penguins parachute? The pictures are colorful and fun as well. The animals are all friendly and happy looking. We really found this book to be fun and perfect for the younger ages. Hazel is a bit past this book in age but she still really enjoyed it.

Busy, Busy by Eileen Spinelli and illustrated by Elina Ellis is a board book about the busyness of animals. The bees are making honey; the beaver has no time to play; and Mommy's always busy, but she is never too busy for a hug from you is the important message delivered in a very fun and simple way.

This book is perfect for any young child to be reminded that Mommy is always there for him/her. It is also great for working mothers to remind their child that they still love them and will always make time for them.

The pictures in the book are fun and the words are simple and easy for a young child to understand. The animals are adorable and really this is a sweet book. We enjoyed it and recommend it.

I hope you will take the time to check out these great books! They both have such wonderful messages for children and deliver them in such fun and colorful ways!
